Can I use my Apple Watch for Heart Rate readings on my iPhone?

Yes, Cadence has an Apple Watch companion app that allows using the Apple Watch for heart rate readings on your iPhone. Pro subscription and watchOS 8+ required.

How to use your Apple Watch for heart rate on iPhone

  1. Make sure the Cadence app is installed on your Apple Watch.
  2. On iPhone > Cadence > Settings > Bluetooth & Apple Watch, make sure “Apple Watch HR” is turned on.
  3. Make sure you have a Heart Rate metric added to your Computer screens where you want it. You can modify the metrics in Settings > Screen Layouts.
  4. On Apple Watch, choose “With iPhone” when starting a workout.
