Unless you’re a serious cyclist that trains for races, don’t buy a $300-$700 bike computer. Use Cadence and your phone instead. The app connects to my Garmin Varia radar, cadence sensor, speed sensor and heart rate monitor. It displays the metrics of all the sensors on your screen! I’m a tech nerd and love gadgets, but this thing reminds me every ride why I don’t need a dedicated bike computer. I want the data because I like to see that I’m improving, but I’m not a pro cyclist. Plus, because I’m using my iPhone, I can listen to music, take calls and reply to texts while I’m riding. And the hardware of bike computers needs to be updated so you’re spending $450 every four years. All of my sensors are 6+ years old and work like the day I bought them. This app is a money saving machine! Use the app the app and your phone. You won’t regret it.
