This is another big update for Cadence! Check out all the new features below:
No More Ads
- I dislike ads as much as anyone, and due to their annoyance and privacy concerns, I’ve decided to remove them entirely. You may still see upgrade prompts where ads used to appear, and a few features have moved to Pro/Elite subscriptions.
Customize Device Screen Layouts
- Adds ability to customize Apple Watch screens.
- Adds ability to customize ActiveLook AR glasses screens.
New Layout Editing Features
- Adds ability to duplicate screens.
- Adds ability to duplicate layout rows and columns.
- Adds ability to sort layout rows and columns.
GPX & Navigation Updates
- Cadence now shows up in Share dialogs when sharing GPX files. No need to save and import GPX files manually!
- You can now export routes created in Cadence as GPX files to share with others.
- Enhances GPX file compatibility to handle more formats.
- Turn by Turn Navigation can now use the system language for voice instructions, meaning it’s not limited by the language options available in Cadence. This can help with pronunciation.
- Turn by Turn Navigation now processes waypoints much faster, speeding up the initial load and when skipping waypoints.
- Location search correctly finds place names as well as addresses again.

- Auto opens Apple Watch app when starting a workout from iPhone.
- Adds ability to scroll from first to last screen.
- Fixes metrics filtering when editing screen layouts for non-English languages.
- Fixes metric color options when editing screen layouts for non-English languages.
