What are Strava Live Segments?
Strava Live Segments are a feature of Strava Summit (Strava’s premium subscription) and allows you to compete live against your best effort and most recent effort.
Here’s a brief video showing how that looks in Cadence. Purple is your most recent effort and yellow is your personal record on the segment, while blue represents your current location:
